Further information: | The plasmid was constructed by replacing the 5' CaADH1-TDH3 and 3' CaADH1 regions in pNIMXT-tTA with the 5' and 3' regions of CaRPS1. The plasmid is intended for chromosomal integration of the nourseothricin cassette into the C. albicans genome via recombination with the RPS1 promoter and terminator sequences. Integration allows for tetracycline/doxycycline regulated expression of genes via a Tet-Off transactivator, under the control of the C. albicans RPS1 promoter. The nucleotide sequence of the plasmid corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number MF048865.1. |
