Further information: The plasmid was constructed by cloning the mCherry reporter gene into the XbaI/HindIII opened pSCrhaM2 vector.
This plasmid is an RNA expression vector for Gram negative bacteria, with the rhamnose-inducible rhaB promoter and transcriptional regulation genes rhaS and rhaR from E.coli.
The plasmid can be used for translational fusions by placing native 5’ UTRs under control of the rhaB promoter with mCherry as reporter.
The nucleotide sequence of the parental pSCrhaB2 vector corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number AY917125.1.
EMBL Accession number: AY917125.1, view at EMBL, GenBank, DDBJ
