| Authenticity test: | Restriction enzyme pattern analysed at GeneCorner: EcoRI, HindII, HindIII and RsaI. The pattern does not fit the expected plasmid length and fragment sizes deduced from the nucleotide sequence file that can be compiled according to the available data on the construction: the plasmid length seems to be more than 6000 bp. The presence of a 400 bp EcoRI fragment, corresponding to the length of the cI insert, could be confirmed. According to the depositor, an unknown fragment might have been fortuitously picked up during construction, without any influence on the insert and the ampicillin and tetracycline resistance markers. |
