| Further information: | The plasmid was constructed as follows: the SalI-KpnI (blunt, by 3' T4 polymerase treatment) fragment of pSV23SE6Hm, containing the cDNA copy of the heavy chain E6H of the mouse anti hPLAP monoclonal antibody E6(IgG2b,κ), was cloned into the SalI and StuI sites of pSCGAL1MF2. The plasmid is used for expression of the heavy chain of the mouse anti-hPLAP monoclonal antibody E6(IgG2b,κ): E6H. When cloning a fragment downstream from the lac promoter it may be advisable to use lacI(q) strains in order to prevent fortuitous expression of a possibly noxious polypeptide. Other name of the plasmid is pSCMFE6H. |
