| Further information: | The plasmid was constructed as follows: the PstI fragment of pATHTNF (containing the complete coding sequence of hTNF) was blunted (Klenow exonuclease) and provided with BglII linkers. After treatment with BglII enzyme the fragment was inserted into the unique BamHI site of pSV529. The orientation of the inserted fragment is antisense relative to the SV40 late promoter.
